Ribbons and seeds!

This week we were very excited to have Celene's Nanny come and talk to us about gardening and start our plans for growing vegetables and flowers.  We also got to choose some seeds to take home to try and grow in our gardens.

During forest school some of us decided to go pond dipping and we were amazed as we watched the newts swimming from our nets!  We used an ID book to help us tell whether they were male (with spots on them) or female.

Lastly, we have been very grateful for the sunshine so that we can start to learn some Maypole dances.  We love the colourful ribbons and are practicing hard to not get them in a tangle!
