Learning, Learning, Learning!

Our Brains are HUGE! This week we have been working hard in class. During English we have been writing recounts of our school trip for the Elderly People in the village. They heard how good our school trip was and wanted to know more details! Have a look below for some brilliant examples! We also have been working really hard in maths this week on addition ! We have been using a variety of strategies to helps us add two digit numbers! We have been super resilient and we never give up just like Tigger! 

Our learning this week...

OUTDOOR EXPLORATION! This week we have had a very productive week at school! Lots of learning in all areas; inside the school, outside the school and even out of the school gates!  Check out some of the photos below for what has been happening... Reception class impressing Miss Libs in dance - PE lesson!  We also assessed risk , talked about safety and tried out the outside equipment! What an active week... Today we did some more learning about our local area. We looked at the Ordnance Survey maps on the internet and found where each child lived and looked at their journey to school. We found out that Caitlin lives the furthest away and soon Alfie will live the closest to school!  We then got the Year 2's to direct us to Bluebell Woods using the map. We talked about how to work out our left and our rights. We then set off on our adventure bringing Milly the dog with us also!  We followed the instructions well and they were perfect. On t
