INCREDIBLE Learners!
This week we really set ourselves some learning challenges...
In Maths, Year 1 and 2 have been getting to grips with division using sharing and grouping methods. We used things to help us, like bears, cubes and...even REAL cookies!!
Our Reception children have been starting to count in group too. We have been counting pairs of socks and making numberlines that count up in 2’s. Wow!
We didn’t just stop there with our learning though...we also looked at speech marks (inverted commas) in our writing, made paper boats, walked to the Chapel Pit to observe seasonal change, learnt more about fish ready for our trip next week and tried different vegetables that can keep us healthy.
We ended our week with a celebration assembly to share some of our amazing learning with our families. Proud mums, dads, grandparents and teacher!
